Hello World!
I started this blog in June 2009 when I was about to leave Germany for my 2 months internship in Singapore and my semester abroad in London at CASS.
I always liked to travel (although I never really made it out of Europe before I flew to Singapore – Tunisia at the age of 2 years I don’t count because I don’t remember anything^^) and I have already lived 2 years in Italy at the age of 15-17 together with my family. There has always been this fascination about other countries and cultures and being able to travel when I started to work, making my own money, made me realize it’s not just holiday, it’s a hobby.
I learned a lot while I was away from home because I don’t just go to places to only lie on the beach doing nothing, but I explore the city and try to get a glimpse of the actual life the people have in the places I go to.
I have just graduated beginning 2011 from university and continued my job as a Global Finance Business Analyst at a local Bank. Because of this I have now moved to Frankfurt but I won’t be staying there for ever, that I’m sure.
Most importantly, now I am free to travel the whole world and maybe live in different countries when there is the opportunity!

My wife and I have been following your blog. Exceptional travel experiences and you’ve done an amazing job capturing their essence.
We travel quite often and your blog has motivated us to launch our own. We did just that earlier this week! http://traytablesup.com/about
Looking forward to reading about your next trip!

Hi Julia,
Came here via Soh Hong Wei’s facebook link. I love travelling too but has not been doing so since the birth of my daughter Amber which is 3 years old now. Hopefully soon to induct her into travelling.
Happy blogging,
Chin
Hi Chin,
Thanks for coming by!
Yes, travelling is amazing but I bet rather difficult with an infant on board!
All the best when going on a first trip with the little one. 🙂
